Michelle’s path into real estate is unique. Her husband has been successfully practicing real estate since 2001. Her mom has been a Top Producing real estate agent in the South Bay consistently over many years. And, her father, now retired, was a successful builder of custom homes in Manhattan Beach. She has been around real estate all of her life.
However, it was important for Michelle to branch out from the family business so she earned a B.A. from UCLA in Economics. She then began a successful public accounting career with a national firm, Kenneth Leventhal & Company, specializing in real estate clients. After becoming a CPA, Michelle chose to expand on this experience by earning a JD from USC Gould School of Law. After becoming a member of the CA Bar, Michelle spent the next couple of years working as a tax consultant in New York City with the Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group at Ernst & Young. After returning to the South Bay, Michelle spent a few more years in tax and consulting but yearned for a new challenge that would tap into her entrepreneurial drive. She then decided to combine her experience and education towards her true passion and family business; real estate. She obtained her brokers license in 2011.
This professional background combined with her personal experiences of buying and selling homes in the South Bay make Michelle highly qualified to advise her clients through this process. She is also very well networked with some of the best agents in the area. Michelle worked for 3 years on a top producing team where she honed her skills in a high volume environment. Most importantly, Michelle is completely committed to her clients and enjoys making this process as user-friendly as possible for them.
Michelle has lived in the South Bay all of her adult life except for a short stint in New York City. She and Trevor currently own their home in Manhattan Beach. She is one of Manhattan Beach’s biggest fans!
Michelle enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and following national politics. She supports The Wounded Warrior Project.
